Does Warfarin (Coumadin) work the same as Heparin to break down fibrin?

I don't believe so. Warfarin is usually used to prevent and break up blood clots by thinning the blood.

Appreciate the information. Your response backs up some information I was just looking at.

Warfarin is also used as a rat poison--it ruins the thickening agents in the rat's blood, and with any scratch, it bleeds to death.

Ugh.

I truly prefer Rechts-Regulat, which handles hypercoagulation very, very well, and is totally natural.

It can be gotten in the U.S. from Dr. K's supplements department, called BioPure, as I recall.

Although pricey, you can cut back on the dossage when you've got a result, so one bottle can last a long time.

Best,

Cass A
