Been fighting Lyme and Babs for 9 years. Have had cheek tingle often, but NOW my entire right leg and butt are tingling, aching and then painful when I go to bed: PAIN as in #9 on the scale of 1-10. Oh, top of foot and ankle too. Had the foot tingle-numbness at first in 2000. My LLMD is on vacation for two weeks. I am in GA; she is in CA. I called her off., but her NP has not returned my call. I'm anxious about this. If feel that if I go to a Dr. here, I'll be dx with MS or something. Anyone know how to treat this tingling/numbness???? TH for any replies.
Martha

I odn't know but I get all variations on tingling or sort-of-gone-to-sleep feelings in legs & arms & sometimes face or scalp, but not with pain.

I was told to add more vit. B 6 for the face tingling.

Can you try some magnesium oil on the skin. I have to start slowly with one drop and now take 20 drops a day.
Are you on enzymes, they can cause it?

Martha,
are you feeling better?
Do you have bartonella? I am on HH and as I was cutting down on HH my horrible vibrations are back again. Also sharp pain in brain.
I wake up during the night with heart racing and vibrations all over the body.
I am not so often online, pm is better.

To karenl, THANK YOU so much for the suggestion on enzymes. I started them a month ago. I need a digestive enzyme cap with meals to help my pancreas. But I bought a larger dose. I shall stop these and see what happens.

I eventually discovered that parasites/worms sitting in the small intestine were causing the numbing and tingling in my extemeties.

As I am getting rid of the parasites these symptoms are leaving. Check out

www.lymephotos.com

www.curezone.com

Also do a search on here for parasite symptoms. Antiparasitic herbs also help,

Gael

Martha, sent you a pm. If you have low alpha one
it is not enough to wait a month, then your body cannot deal with enzymes.

Bug Barb no offense intended but I would not suggest that people take what you have suggested. There can be very serious problems esp. with ALA and Lyrica.

I was just throwing out possibilities. I would totally expect someone to do research on their own and talk to their doctor before doing any of those things. Especially since most of them require a prescription.

On the ADA discussion board, ala has been found to be very helpful for diabetic neuropathy.

No offense taken.
