I could use some thoughts. My main symptoms have been daily headaches, stiff neck and heart palpitations.

I have started seeing a new LLMD and the two things he added to my treatment plan are cholestyramine and nystatin. I have been on this for about 2 months.

About one month ago my heart palpitations and headaches got much better. For the first time in 9 years I have had 2 weeks without a headache!

My neck is still stiff but better.

About 3.5 weeks ago I started getting a pain in upper middle back. That pain came and went for about 2 weeks.

In the last 1.5 weeks The pain has also moved to my sides below my ribs and above my hips. Also the pain is now lower in my back too.

I have been having these spells where I have to rush to bathroom. I have greasy stools and the toilet paper is yellow.

I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago.

In the past 3 days I have just horrible fatigue.

My doctor did a blood workup and my alt was a little elevated at 60 and lipase a little elevated at 66.

Yesterday the pain was so bad I went to urgent care. Blood work showed the same with slightly elevated enzymes. CT scan showed nothing unusual. Urine was fine as was ekg.

My doctor is saying it could be herx or just bacteria stirring up in different locations.

The ER doc said to keep an eye on enzyme numbers but thinks pain is likely from muscle or nerve irritation. They sure dont feel that way to me.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I was feeling so hopeful when my main symptoms started to get better but this new pain is almost worse.

I have anxiety after all these years and feel like its something serious like liver or pancreas despite the tests not showing anything alarming.

Sounds like pancreas. Yellow stool. Or stone blocking duct. Or liver messed up. Did they consult a gastro doc? They could have at looked.

No gastro doc was consulted yet. I have pancreas on my radar but the ct scan showed all the organs looked normal.

Are you on IV or a lot of abx? Rocephin, for instance, might cause this. Plus, any abx causes neurotoxins and toxins in general to accumulate. So we need lots of detox.

It sounds like a lot of liver congestion. I would suggest a Liver Flush. They help a lot!! And you could do one every two weeks until you don't have these symptoms.

Of course, you can continue to get checked out, but regular doctors don't know anything about Liver Flushes and detox. LLMD's know more, but still not everything.

i had my gallbladder removed 30 yrs. ago; i have yellowish bms all the time still to this day.

so it is gallbladder related as well.

They thought my brother in law had pancreas cancer.

Went to Baltimore where the worlds leading

authority on pancreas works. On normal scan it did

not show up. When he started itching like crazy and

turning yellow it was found on PET scan. Did

surgery and doc said it looked like cancer but it

was not it was just disease. But you don't want

to take chances with it.

Hi Mark,

I have not had the pain, but one time several years ago, before I started treating, but was clearly infected, I had the same thing happen.

I had a sudden 'urge' to eliminate and when I did, what resulted was yellow, greasy looking, mush. It scared the heck out of me.

I had abdominal ultrasounds that were normal and it has never happened again.

In your case, it seems to be an extended occurrance. I would demand further investigation. What have the docs said or attributed the 'yellow' stools to?

BEST,
Feelfit

It could be some parasite like Giardia, which is much easier to contract than most people realize. It will cause the urgent need to go and 'yellow', soft or mushy stools.

At least Giardia (and perhaps other parsites) is something they could test for pretty easily. And a round of Flagyl usually knocks it out.

I'd get to a good gastro and get my pancreas checked out. The symptoms you are describing make it sound like gall bladder, but you don't have one, so your pancreas and liver need to be looked at.

This is my opinion, I'm not a doc!
