Yep - I kept it and will send it out - hopefully there is info in the threads on where and who. I appreciate the help!

Hey Scott,
How have you been? Glad you saw the tick and knew where to come to get help. Sorry you were bit though.

Hey,
I was a bit brief in my initial post (I was watching the World Series ).
So, yes doxy is a good initial treatment--for lyme. If the tick gave you babesia it won't help.
Igenex tests ticks for lyme. So do some other labs, but I don't know if any other lab tests for co-infections. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper than getting treated for an infection that has had time to establish itself.
Good luck!
James

Hi Can't (M),
I've been good up until yesterday but at least i did see it hopefully I will be ble to knock it out if there is any infection.
How have you been? From your post it looks like you finally tested positive. This place has always been good to me and it was the first place I thought of when I found the tick.
Are you still working? Have you heard from Jack at all?
Thanks James - I was watching the same game. It looks like you guys are going to take it but I'm not giving up hope yet - Maybe the Yanks will have the same stroke of bad luck as they did with Boston a few years ago!
Of course - in my mind I am already experiencing symptoms! Hopefully I can get in to see my doc. I still have my rife machines but I'd prefer the med route since I have the the advantage of catching it early.

Hey Scott, Are you still working? I havent been able to return to work...although over the summer I was feeling much better...now it seems more symptoms are back again.
Yes I finally tested positive. I have not heard from Jack in a looong time. How about you?
Are you still rifing?
I agree i think with this bite to use abx first to knock down the infection
I was watching that game too....hopefully the phils can pull off a miracle and win three in a row :-)

Actually... at the most recent conference they had researchers that found a combo of Doxy and Tindamax worked best (nothing was 100% effective) to attack keets and the cysts they start forming within 3 days of exposure.
Doxy alone did NOT get rid of the Lyme in their studies.
