does anyone get very very bad brain fog first

thing in the morning and then it slowly gets

better as the day goes by? and when i say brain

fog, does your fog mean you have trouble

organizing thoughts so that when you are

answering a questino, you start with one topic

and then so suddenly you start talking about

something totally different so that the person

listenting to you has no idea what you are

talking about and if she didnt know you were

sick, would think you were really strange and can

not follow what you are saying? and of course

with the fog, i have so much trouble

understanding anything i am trying to read, very

very bad in the morning, is the brain fog coming

as a result of all the chills and sweats i get in

my sleep? and is there anything i can take to

help clear my head and my thinking? thanks for

any help

Hey rad...

I can't say what your situation is caused by, but I can suggest a couple of things to consider.

A good sleep. Are you sure you are sleeping soundly?

Inflammation. When we are still and not circulating and the organs are resting, the inflammation has a tendency to build up.

Once awake and moving, the body is in full forward mode trying to eliminate it or deal with it.

And yes, the problems you describe can be a part of the brain fog.

Hope that helps.

Right there with you.

My family knows that I need hours (yes, really, hours) in the morning to be somewhat functional and speaking normally.

Until then - it's like the world speaking another language.

This had improved dramatically with babesia treatment, and then with recognizing and treating adrenal insufficiency.

A recent relapse has set me back though.

Where are you in regard to babs treatment? You said you're having sweats, so I'm guessing you've got babs?

Have you had your adrenals checked?

Haha, I'm exactly the opposite. I might be a bit groggy for the first 30 min or so (maybe an hour), but my brain fog gets worse as the day goes on.

I am quite clear first thing in the morning. Everything seems to hit me about 2 hours after I wake up and cycles during the day.

yes i am pretty sure i have babs, but the big

problem i have is that i cannot tolerate any

treatment for babs or lyme because i just herx

too too too strong and the everyday symptoms are

already so so unbearable, so i really dont know

what to do, i am so desperately looking for

someting that will eliminate or drastically

lessen the herx, thanks so mcuh for all your

replies,

Rzdha

Radha,

The babs herx was horrible for me, too. I was fortunate to have a supportive family to help out, and give me permission to just be sick.

What do you do for detox when treating babs?

I've heard good things about activated charcoal - when the herx is too strong, too.

Hoping you find a way to treat and get well...

Radha,

I am feeling so much better in the mornings since I did the following changes:

1.I reacted to the fire retardent which is in
matresses and in the boxspring.

2.I reacted to the carpet in my bedroom.

I am doing a lot better without textile and only washable things in my bed.
I sleep now in a room with tiles.

My doctor is very familiar with this problem as many of his patients feel sick in the morning because of the toxic bedding.

For those who get sicker as the day goes on...

If you don't eat .. do you feel better?

If that is the case... maybe check out Leaky Gut Syndrome.
