Kidney-Klear comes in liquid form, so a few drops per day should help.

- With frequent urination (which can be good as it's a sign that inflammation may be decreasing) - be sure he has excellent mineral and electrolyte balance with lots of vegetables and dark berries, tart apples, lemon juice on his salads (maybe with a touch of stevia to sweeten it), etc. A little bit of sea salt is good, too.
Yes, CORDYCEPS is gentle and excellent. It also helps adrenal support. It's on Dr. B's supplement list.
Cordyceps mushroom is sweet and bland in taste, and warming in action. It strengthens immunity and fortifies and heals the lungs, heart and kidneys. Used as a tonic for weakness in the elderly and to promote longevity. . . .
Note: As this is a food source, from actual mushrooms, this is a slightly sweet and mild substance. You can open up a capsule and sprinkle it into food if he is has trouble swallowing capsules. It is good mixed in Quinoa or other non-gluten whole grains - or maybe with some steamed green beans, kale or even carrots. -

. . . Kidney disorders are generally of a cold and deficient nature. Kidney therapy, therefore, needs to focus primarily on the tonification of deficiency; purging of excess is a definite taboo.
If kidney water is deficient, the kidney needs to be tonified by moistening yin. If kidney jing is deficient, it needs to be replenished by supplementing jing and tonifying the bone marrow.
If kidney yang is deficient, the kidney needs to be tonified by using modalities that strengthen yang. . . .

Thanks so much Keebler, Massman and Feelfit.
I looked up your suggestions. I was hoping I could go to my coop and find something with the ingredients you suggest in it...maybe a tincture or a tea.
He is so pilled out.
If not, I'll go to your very helpful websites.
That's interesting...a fungus with caterpillar larvae.
Sign me up..........
Hugs,

- For a child the tea may be enough but, generally, a tea is not nearly as strong a dose as a capsule. Really, though, the capsule can be opened and put in food or in cup of warm water. It will not taste like very nice tea, though unless other things are added like a touch of ginger, etc.
If you do find a tea with cordyceps in it, be sure to look at the mg yield per cup. And treat it like daily medicine. With teas, often people take with a hit or miss approach. Consistency and dosing get mixed up.
Cordyceps is no longer grown on caterpillars. Now, they usually use brown rice as a base on pieces of wood in clean laboratory setting.
But, actually, that is how Rocephin was discovered, from Cordyceps growing on caterpillars. Unfortunately, Cordyceps does not have the same effect at Rocephin (as that has other laboratory processes) but it's an interesting tidbit. -

You,re right Keebler, I can break it open.
Perhaps I could disguise it in a tea.
I have to go to the coop today and just look.
Finances real tight right now.
Pharmanex is a trustworthy company though. I will probably go that route. Does it say on the bottle how much for children?

"Water drinking as being pushed by doctors is a big mistake. You are flushing out the already deficient minerals even more". This was a comment by Dr.K. at a recent Healing the Brain seminar.
Drink occasional small amounts of liquids, juices, soups, that will not go straight through the system but need to be metabolized and stay in the body to have time to be absorbed.
If you do not have the correct minerals on board, no detox or getting rid of the killing debris can take place and that is where all the evil usually starts == retaining toxins.
