Just curious if this is a symptom and if it has a name.

Sometimes when I'm sitting I'll all the sudden get this "disconnected" feeling. Like my brain is no longer part of my body.

Sometimes I get dizzy/disoriented with it, sometime not.

I can still use my extremeties but it's not like I'm using them if you know what I mean.

It's very weird. Almost like an out of body experience.

Does anyone else get this?

This was one of my Babesia symptoms. It has gotten better with treatment.

You're right - it's definitely weird.

It's called depersonalization. People with lyme get it.

Read the definition on the Internet and see if that is a descrption of what you are feeling.

Look up any of my posts and see what people have said. I live with it and it is one of the worst symptoms. Feel better and look up depersonalization to see how many people have it and how they cope. Good luck.

I have it all the time. When I was first getting sick, it would happen on and off. Then it became constant. People don't know if it is lyme or babesia or bartonella. My doctor thinks mine is bartonella. Treating with Bactrim now, which hits several of these.

Hope it gets better for you.

I would say for me it is probably Babesia that causes this. This is a recent conclusion after being on Mepron.

Minocycline does that to me

Babesia for me too.

Most cleared after doing Coartem/Riamet. Had it for years.

AWFUL symptom.
