Wondering if any kids/teens see the Dr. J and have been cured of stomach acid/problems.

If so, would you consider PMing me to say what protocol really made the difference?

I sure would like to know.

--------------------------------------

I've changed the title hoping for more responses.

Two things I know for sure: my young teen has stomach acid and Bart rashes.

I'm trying to find out if any child with Bart or other that caused stomach acid, was treated and cured.

And if so, what protocol cured them of the bad guys and hopefully cleared up the acid?

Or maybe I should ask, could you tell me how your child, who sees Dr. J, got rid of Bart?

I read so many people on here say that Levaquin turned the corner for them, but kids under 18 can't take Levaquin.

Rifampin has been helping me a lot so far, but my daughter's stomach can't tolerate Rifampin.

I'm searching for ideas. And I'm sure Dr. J has had the most experiece so that's why I'm coming at this question from this direction.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

17hens, how old is your daughter? Is she done growing? If she has had regular check-ups her primary doctor they should be able to predict about how tall she should be based on her growth chart. X-rays of the legs can verify when she is done growing.

I say all that because if your daughter is done growing her doctor might consider treating her with Levaquin. It is used in children younger than 18 but only as a last resort because the risks are greater when they are still growing.

No she's not. She's 14 and just grew 3/4 of an inch since March. She's 5'7.75" now.

Good thought though. I didn't know that was the reason with the age limit.

joahsark, did you see the thread that contained info for ginger juice?

check it out at -

lots of good info! I'm going to try the ginger root first as I think it'll be easier to get daughter to swallow then cabbage juice.

If you try something, let me know how it goes!

When I was taking doxy I had acid reflux and I found that taking apple cider vinegar (with the mother) eliminated it. You can use it as salad dressing with some olive oil.
