My iron levels just tested very low. I just started taking Blood Builder by Mega Food. Working out well. No constipation. I had sent a PM to Sixgoofykids; this is what she takes.

Good luck!

Agreed, Mega Food Blood Builder. Recently Whole Foods here was out of it so I bought Garden of Life's iron, which is similar.

I got SEVERELY anemic on the other iron and have been fighting for a month to get my levels back up. I'm starting to feel better after having doubled the dosage of the Blood Builder for a couple weeks.

I also drink Nettles infusion, which are full of minerals and really help with iron. I am also eating a lot of buffalo, which is high in iron.

iron bis glycinate, commonly called Ferrochel.

no stomach troubles and is better absorbed and safer than other forms of iron.

Ditto to what kitty said above; it was recommended to me by a lyme-friendly gastro doc.
