Do parasites come out in pee without specific parasitic treatment?
I've seen these very skinny white long (about 1 - 3 inches) almost translucent looking things come out in the toilet. At first, they were about 1/2 inch and would just float to the bottom of the toilet.
But lately, I've seen longer ones. They are not alive, and when I 'tinker' with them, they kind of dissolve and break apart.
Could this be yeast symptoms, (cause I know I have yeast problems) or could it be a type of worm or parasite?
Ugh, the thought makes me gross out. But I want to do something about it. Any suggestions?

The only one who ever made this statement was some old member called Massman who seemed to have left the building a while back. He made many claims of killing his Babs infection with some Inno-vita Micro-Site supplement and seeing red specks in his urine indicating die-off. No one else her ever seems to have experienced it. Could be yeast .. could be a sign of IC .. a bladder disease. (mine was caused by Lyme)
but I would bet on yeast

Sounds exactly like mucus in the urine - a sign of bladder inflammation. I'm not saying that's what yours is because I don't know but that's what my doctor told me when I asked. Mine do not float and gets better when I take homeopathics for the bladder.

I have had what you are talking about, fished them out of the toilet so I could identify them, and they were worms. I have also felt them squirm out of my bladder. Threadworms are white.

I am assuming you are a female?
It sounds like normal vaginal mucous. It would not have come out if your urethra, but washed off as you urinated.

Never heard of mucus being described in inches. In any case, mucus and chronic yeast are on the symptom list for parasites.

If you had a urine test done at a lab. would they not add to the report that they noticed parasites or mucus or yeast?
I had blood in my urine and the lab made a note of it. The doctor asked me if I had my period when I had the test done. Otherwise, blood in the urine is not a good sign.
So that is why I never really worry about things floating in my urine. Wouldn't the lab and doctor discuss this issue with us, if something wasn't normal?
If not, I am definetly going to pay more attention when I pee!

Since I started Parastroy 3 months ago, this happens almost daily to me.
Clear or whitish tiny ones and up to 4 inches long.
Definitely parasites/worms. Definitely not yeast or mucus.
They do come out vaginally when I have my period.

I suspect that these parasites may be causing vulvodynia, menstrual cramps & maybe alot more health problems in people.

It's good to put this out there. I'm sure it will help people to know they aren't crazy or alone in dealing with it. It's really happening. Most doctors do not know how to address it. Sometimes, we have to take matters into our own hands.

First of all, I just had to giggle to myself, now everybody is going to be inspecting their pee! lol!
Second of all, there is actually a site that has pictures of all these parasites. I don't know where it is, I will try to find it and link it back here.
Third, its amazing what info we share with each other yet, it doesn't feel so uncomfortable. We are all trying to help each other out. And we all have these "embarrassing" things going on. But I totally know what you mean!
Forth, oh yes, I was just going to say, that does NOT sound like mucous, I don't know about yeast, but not really that either. I have heard that many Lymies actually have experienced this! Its parasites.
Fifth, I see I can count tonight. Isn't that amazing?? Only when it isn't absolutely necessary you know....argh!

Sparkle, you are very intuitive. My menstrual cramps, felt more like inflamation for the past few years, are barely noticable this month.

What more can I ask of friends than to be interested in "parasites in pee" conversations?
