some german LLMD's think that coinfections aren't a big deal for the germans. I think this is totally wrong. Are there any numbers or something like that which co's are more commom in europe?
According to Burrascano 66% of the ticks in the US have babesia and i was asking myself what it's like in europe.
Thanks

Hi Energyman, I got my Lyme in Germany and don't have classic symptoms for either babs or bart, but I have some bart symptoms. Taking cipro seemed to bring them out.
Maybe your MD could try cipro as a challenge since it's hard to get a positive test.
But, I'm on Buhner now and my LLMDs theory is that getting rid of Lyme will allow my immune system to get rid of the bart.

some LLMDs in Germany are nuts.I am from europe an d I have pcr verified bartonella. In fact, the co infections are The problem- not borreliosis, which in comparison is easy to treat. Gale

Marz,
That's a dangerous theory lol Bart isn't one to mess around with and assume your immune system will eventually get itt

There aren't any reliable tests for bartonella or babesia. I did a PCR in the US but it was negative. But they don't test for all specific strains...

Canefan, my memory might have twisted what my LLMD had said.
But when I saw her in April, the latest Public Health Alert had come out with an article about Buhner that she was very enthused about.
So I started Buhner sometime in May.
Looking at this article now, I think this is what she was referring to:
"if all of your symptoms go away and your energy is great and your life is working great, it doesn't really matter whether you have the disease or not." --a quote from Buhner
I think he's talking about Borrelia, not co's. But isn't his core protocol for the co's too?
