I couldn t tolerate high dose clindamycin quinine(3x600 quinine/3x600 clindamycin)( intense fatigue and muscle ache)

Is there anyone tried low dose quinine+clindamycin?.

Is a good opinion to slowly increase dosage because of intense herx reaction?

I would cut it in half and go from there. If its still too rough cut even more. Some rotate those with Biaxin and something else. Worked for me.

I have also found herxing can sometimes be lessened by stopping a couple of days.

Esp. in cases of fever. Of course my fevers were only 101. But for us in Lyme that can be high...

I thought i took 750 to 1000mg a day of clindy and one quinine pill.

At times I herxed so hard I couldn't stand it. Had to back off.
