So after a bit of treatment, I have the following symptoms still present:
1. A muscle weakness that manifests through shakiness/non-smooth muscle movement. It's almost like a ratchet movement instead of smooth muscle contraction. I feel it in the trapezius(sp?), stomach muscles and leg muscles. It's really body wide, but especially evident in big muscles groups. 2. Slight skin numbness, particularly noticeable in hands. 3. A bit of dizziness/lack of coordination.
Thoughts anyone? What does this point towards? Any treatment ideas?
Thanks. Tom

With all the I am not a doctor disclaimers assumed, it sounds like you have the neuro lyme. And could benefit from some IV Abx.

Neuro lyme doesn't need to always be treated with IV. I've gotten to 95% on orals. My Brian MRI is now normal.
Have you treated for Babesia? Seems like lyme / Babesia to me.

Interesting. Regarding Babesia, I don't think I've ever been explicitly treated. I only had night sweats about four months after tick bite. I've never tested positive for Babs. Still...
Sounds like neuro lyme to me too.

bcb, what oral meds do you think got rid of your neuro lyme?

Thomas, Are you taking B vitamins?
I think the skin numbness is neuropathy. My feet were numb for six weeks, and then I started taking a B complex vitamin.
THE NEXT DAY the numbness got better!

I've taken much B. I've had much improvement in my neuro symptoms, though they're not gone completely.
