My llmd has sent numerous patient samples for this test and they all come back positive.
Does everyone test positive for this bug?

Interesting, I just was tested, but don't know my results yet. I bet we go to the same doctor. What was the doctors comment on the fact that everyone tests positive? climber

I see Dr M in Ct. He wasn't surprised that I tested positive since I've been on abx for 2 yrs and haven't improved much. In fact, my ALS symptoms are alittle worse in some ways.

I have seen pain mentioned...which I really don't have most days. I'm thinking of getting this test as I feel stuck and am wondering if it is going to be positive. Seems like everyone is.

I'm not sure what Fry bug symptoms usually are, but I have muscle atrophy, ear ringing, air hunger, voice loss, skin burning, facillations, fevers, chills, flushing. The usual stuff I guess.

Haven't heard any specifics as far as symptoms, as I don't think that has been identified to date.
Here is what I do know:
There is some question in relation to those (many of us) who do not respond well to treatment after having tried various protocols, meds, etc. that this may be behind our treatment failures.
What I recall hearing was that this parasite is sort of a "guardian" so to speak -- is able to hide itself as well as all the other offenders very well via biofilms.
The suspicion, I believe, is that FL1953 has to be eradicated in order to successfully get at and treat the other pathogens.
Otherwise, it's like dealing with the defensive guard -- who basically polices and ensures that all other pathogens are kept safe.

But very, very interesting, and honestly the first thing I have heard since I've been sick and dx'ed that actually has me feeling hopeful and eager to hear more.
I see my LLMD next mos and already plan to try and prod him for more info.
If and when I learn more, I will certainly post what I have heard.

my llmd described fl1953 as a parasite that protected itself with biofilm and other bugs hide with it under the same protective film. Maybe that;s why I've never tested positive for anything except the fry bug?

Think of this disease as the main one. Symptoms are different in everyone, just like any babs, bart, lyme, and this FL1953 can give us all these same symptoms.
And think of this as something between a protozoan like Malaria and a worm like a parasite. (quoting dr.) It hides in biofilm. Fat thins the biofilm. This bugger gives off 'stuff' like gunk in the blood stream. It's being seen in lots of different areas of our bodies in new testing.
I believe this is the first step in figuring out that ALL bugs carry yucky things. And it's up to our DNA to fight it or not. That's why some people can have a bite and not be sick or they get better soon.
Malaria is the number one killer in the world. Why would we think in the USA that we don't have vector borne diseases either?

Last picture my daughter got of her infection, the biofilm communities were breaking up and they were covered in white blood cells.
She is experimenting with Ivermectin, and she has started with all the symptoms that showed up when she first got sick. It's weird. IBS came back, severe depression, extreme fatigue. Pain.
My daughter explains that it feels different from any other herx she has had with a medication.
He says she is one of his sickest patients.
We experimented with Ivermectin a year ago. One pill a day for four days. By the third day, she was in a fetal position on the couch; so much physical and mental pain.
She started it again this past June. Can only still tolerate 1/4 pill. All lymph glands are hard and spewing toxins through her skin.
It's not pretty.

Well yes , if it;s not the correct one... So I waited any way and now I'm on week 6 in bed except for 3 dr. visits, 3 blood draws.
So either I'm not taking enough, or didn't understand his instructions, or the infection is attacking other things now. Like heart, lungs, bones ,,, My brain feels swollen....
HELP Omniceft x's2, doxyx's 2or 3, Avelox x's 1.. Valtrex x's 4 ...Artiminison, fluc., cholestrime????x1 A few supplements, mag just got here,,,progesterone when I remember, and a few other PROBIOTICS galore..
I should feel better,not like I can't breath, have a fever and am toxic.....Oh yes ,let's throw in nerve tingles, pain, and brain fog to the hilt.

Nonna, you sound like my cousin w/ chlamydia pneumonia in addition to all the rest (she also has borrelia, bartonella, ehrlichia and a few more).
