My daughter is one of the control patients going through this treatment.
You can find her story in other threads.

I just started treatment for this. I also have ALS so I hope this stops the progression. So far, it hasn't.

There are several docs doing tx for this besides Dr F. They are using Ivermectin -- a fairly common antiparasitic.
I thought I had read that pyramethamine (sp?) was some sort of landmark discovery from a few years ago from this lab..ie this is what worked?

So far this is the only thing to kill the FL1953 in the lab.
I can only tell you that my daughter is a toxic dump on Ivermectin. There is so much crud coming out of her it's scary.
Based on blood slides during treatment, the construction of the blob is changing.
I still see value in all the antibiotics, antimalarials and antivirals because we all know this disease is a soup.
Dr. F is definitely not the first to use Ivermectin. From reading other posts on here, I can see that some have a reaction to taking it, others do not.
That seems to be pretty telling. My daughter is spewing green goo out of every pore. This only from 1/4 tablet every other day.

Holy cow, Kelmo! Is she taking anything else with it or just Ivermectin?

This lab found several unknown microbes in my blood. Not sure if one of them is the one that has now been named. One was hemobartonella, which I presume is something different.
Wondering how it was determined that this is the premier germ. Seems to me that having a soup of germs would make the role of any one of them hard to separate out.
