I'm having a very scary acute infection with Filarial Worms (strongyloids)

Swollen brain, etc

I've been to hospital twice and have a schedule with infectious disease doctor soon.

When you are better, can you tell us how you know that it is Filarial worms and how it is manifested in the brain?

I believe I have the same problem and have even had a positive blood test but I am having a tough time convincing my doc.

What bloodtest did you have done that showed filarial worms? What lab and the name of the test and the cost?
