I feel like I'm gettin sicker!Pain was never one of my main symptoms until about 6 mos. ago.The pain started in my lower back and has now spread to my entire back, top 2 bottom!!I've been treating since May 2009.I have been on Daraprim,a strong med 4 babesia since May 2011.I wonder if that has anything to do with it?I'm so upset and discouraged [Frown] Has any1 else had a new symptom appear after starting treatment that wasn't a main concern b4? [confused]

Yes, new symptoms are no stranger. Some of that is the herxheimer reaction. I hope your LLMD has explained that and has you on good liver, adrenal, neuro support.

Some adjustments might need to be made. Often, the more stressed the liver, the more pain.

A gluten-free diet often helps decrease pain for many lyme patients. Some with dairy-free. Others may have certain foods to also avoid such as corn, or soy.

For sure, though avoid all processed foods. No artificial anything, especially sweeteners such as aspartame. Aspartame and MSG are toxic and will cause more pain. Google for all the names they each hide under.

Stevia, from plants, is a good sweetener. SweetLeaf Stevia clear is my favorite.

Details in the threads below should help.

This can get better, really. It's just all rather complex, though. Take care.

Probably a babesia herx... but do run it by your LLMD to be sure!

just to be safe, are you checking your organ functions (blood tests) while on meds? kidneys, liver, Gall bladder, pancreas

do you have other co-infections?
