if the parasitic treatment takes 6 months, isn't it bad to let the Lyme fester along for 6 months?
This is not my scenario, I'm just thinking out loud.

I hear you loud and clear. The thinking is that the parasites are protecting the bacteria and it's difficult to eradicate without getting rid of the parasites.
However, some of these parasites are carrying wolbachia bacteria, and when they die, I would think that the bacteria would be released.
A good combo for the Lyme complex might be antiparasitics, antibacteriala and antifungals.
Along with the detox protocols that have been mentioned here. Some of the antiparasitic herbs as well as salt/c, kill bacteria as well as parasites. Thinking out loud as well.
I did not realize that I had the Filarial co-infection and after 6 mos of lots of herbs and salt/c EVERYTHING pictured on www.lymephotos.com came pouring out of me into the toilet.
After 4 yrs on abx incl 6 mos of IV rocephin, the herbs and salt/c saved my life.
Just my 2 cents

what if you're too I'll for the die off? Guess you do the mildest treatment huh?

They all live together in one ecosystem. And should be treated that way, I.e. metals cause the fungi to grow; the body's way to protect us from lethal metals. And so on....
The Klinghardt Lyme Cocktail is based on this principle.
Take care.

How do you know if you have parasites? Is there a test?

Lab tests are basically useless. One way is to be energetically tested (but with a highly skilled practitioner). The other way it to start an herbal treatment and see what happens. But I would only really go down this path with a good doctor's guidance and support. You need to make sure you have the right binders on hand (to absorb the toxins and expel them from your body), and organ support.
Read up on past posts from Gigi and glm1111. There is a TON of info here on Lymenet.

FYI, Six mos of antiparasitics is usually not enough. Hulda Clark suggests staying on them forever because of all of the eggs that these parasites have layed.
There can be ascaris, hookworm and a host of other parasites that people with compromised immune systems can be infected with.
If just one egg is left, the cycle will start all over again. According to the lymephotos site, it can take 3-5 yrs to get rid of this infection depending on how long you were infected.

What are these anti parasitic herbs you speak of?
Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :
Parastroy, Humaworm, Hanna Kroeger Wormwood Combo, Hulda Clark, just to name a few. You can google antiparasitic herbs for more.
I eventually did a combo of Parastroy, Hanna Kroeger, Digestive Enzymes, xetra cloves and HCL.
You can also look into Mimosa Pudica (do a search on lymenet for a recent thread)which Dr. K. says is much stronger than even the pharma antiparasitics.

I guess I should have known there is no such thing as a simple test for anything Lyme-related. ; )
Thanks for the info, I will definitely ask about parasites at my next LLMD visit.
