Not sure what's going on....possibly yeast, parasites, herxing.
Is it best to vomit and get out whatever the body doesn't like or use a phenergan suppository?
I couldn't take AM meds....Rifampin, doxy, ceftin, and plaquenil and can't eat anything. I am managing to drink water with electrolytes.

Hi RZR, I can only share my experience with this issue. When I first started on Doxy and Plaquenil, I had to take Promethazine 25mg for nausea.
Getting on the meds upset my stomach so bad - I had no choice. I still have to eat something when I take them; a banana was and still is the best for me. Are you trying to taking everything at once?
Check with your doctor or pharmacist, but mind has me separate them by 2 hours. I have found a great APP for my phone to remind me; let me know if you want me to send it to you.
Your stomach will eventually get used to the meds. Keep up your strength.

Here's a recent post, not on vomiting - but on nausea...
I don't think it's the meds upsetting my stomach. I have been taking them for 3 weeks now, but had bouts of nausea before.
Vomiting has also been occasional before these meds.

Nausea has been probably the most consistent symptom hubby has had for the entire 11 years he has been sick.
Hate to admit it but he has been on oral phenergan for over a year now - 12.5 mg 3 times daily. He had to resort to this med when he started his aggressive babs treatment. For him higher doses of phenergan aggravate his nervous system and he can't tolerate zofran either.
Over the years he has been on and off zofran and phenergan depending on what meds he was on and his symptoms.
He doesn't have the dry heaves that wake him up every night anymore -- thankfully that symptom has been gone for over a year now.
Short term I don't see a problem with either phenergan or zofran. Longterm there are potential neuro side effects, but sometimes (especially when the nausea and dry heaves and occasional vomiting originate in the brain rather than the stomach) there just don't seem to be many alternatives.

the rx Zofran helped me. I also nibbled on ginger cookies. That seemed to help keep the nausea at bay so I didn't vomit.
