Great news!

How long have you been on that treatment for?

Keep us informed.

I've been ramping up this program over the last two weeks. I just added the Ivermectin today. If you can't tell (sarcasm), Babesia is my problem infection.

I started the Bicillin shots two weeks ago. Big herxes after the first couple injections. Now, I just feel good.

I tolerate this amount of medication because my pathogen loads are much lower now. I never could have done this in the early years.

I've been on ILADS-style oral antibiotics for the last four years. I entered year five of treatment at the end of April.

I do expect more herxing. But right now, I feel better than I've felt in decades. It's kind of weird, to tell you the truth. I lost my baseline for good health many, many years ago. Who knows how healthy people feel?

Maybe I get to find out. [Smile]

Best of wishes [Big Grin]

Are you using horsey ivermectin or script,,, I've just seen it on here lately. NO cyst buster's?//

It would be weird to know what normal felt like after all this time.. [woohoo]

There's HOPE !!!!!!!!!!!yeah,,

I got a prescription for Stromectol/Ivermectin.

I just did two weeks of Flagyl (with other meds), and I've been on cyst busters periodically throughout my treatment.

Diflucan also has cyst-busting properties. And it increases my Babesia die-off. And keeps the yeast under control. I really love Diflucan.

After feeling like crap for years, believe me, you know 'normal' when you feel it - so CONGRATS!!!

You're on your way!!!! Feeling 'normal' should start to make appearances more often. And if you have a bad day, or a few crappy hours, don't freak and think 'OMG I'm relapsing'. Normal will return - it's just a little bit of a roller coaster sometimes, even at the end.

Diflucan and Flagyl were instrumental in getting me well.

Best news I've heard all decade;) Can you tell us in any way your dosages (or PM me)? I am on Bicilin although my doc seems to use much less than most LLMDs, will be adding back the Ivermectin and Mepron (I had to stop these due to my Strep flair). I'd like to be on Zith, but I have gotten Tinnitis so I'm nervous about this drug.

If you just started the Ivermectin.... hold on before you say you are feeling great. My guess is you will have some type of effect from the Ivermectin.

Don't let feeling good make you forget about detoxing!!! I did that and had a few bad days to remind me.

So happy to hear you're feeling good, though. [Big Grin]

Lies!! D@mn lies!!! Told by me, no less!

I herx each time I add or switch a med. In between herxes, I feel pretty good. Thanks for the detox reminder. I do feel a ton better when I exercise and detox.

Still on Bicillin, Mepron, Zith, Ivermectin. Switched out Diflucan for Bactrim DS. Huge herx that day.

Bicillin is 3x/wk. Mepron/Zith/Bactrim 2x/day. Ivermectin every third day.

This is a good program for me. My Babs' symptoms are reducing quickly. No more evening fevers or sweats. No chills. No cough. No twitching. (Ivermectin is the best for that.)

No neck/back pain. Some jaw/teeth pain. Leg pain much reduced.

Fatigue comes and goes. No insomnia.

My hair is still falling out. But that's what hats are for.

No headaches unless I'm herxing. Then it's perma-headache til I'm done.

Herxes are intense, but short. I still have no discernible flare cycle.

Still have moderate titers for Chlam. Pneu, Myco. Pneu, HHV6, EBV.

Onward....!!

Congratulations! I hope the herxes stay small and that you keep improving!

That is exactly the truth about not knowing what healthy feels like. I beat the infections, and thought I felt 100%. Then as my body actually got healthy, not *just* infection-free, I kept feeling better and better.

People ask, "How can you say you're 100% and say you're feeling better and better?" The statement just doesn't make sense until you get to that point.

Just noticed you did a switch to Bactrim...What part to you think ,if any , on this breakthrough???

I saw this before, but this is sooo great!! Those of us still slogging away need to hear news like this. I know that you are not saying that you are done, but still . . . To be able to say that you feel normal a lot, wow, at this point it is inconceivable to me, sadly.

so happy for you Boxermom! I hope it continues to get better and better for you. Keep us posted.

How wonderful!!! It's funny - I think about the same thing all the time - I don't remember what "normal" feels like any more!
