wanted to ask if anyone has experienced a thunderclap headache? feels like your head is going to explode. Never had this before until two months ago. scary stuff. wondering if this a progression of what ever I have? seeing my new LLD doc at the end of Sept. can not wait. in the meantime I am feeling bad and checking in with all of you. thanks

Hmm.. not familiar with the term. Many with Lyme have head pressure.

This may have nothing to do with lyme, or it may. Regardless, you need to be seen by an MD ASAP. They need not know about lyme to assess you regarding this condition. There are many causes.

Dear Lymetoo~ I have also had tremendous head pressure, creaky neck and neck pain.
Keebler~Let me explain further. I did go to the ER and I had a CT scan, bloodwork, an X-ray and was put on morphine. I later had another episode and was brought back to the ER and had another CT scan. Then two days later had a spinal tap to make sure that there was no brain bleed. There was none.

Magnesium may need to be increased or type changed. That's the first thing to consider regarding headaches. And if you are dehydrated or toxic (getting good liver support?). -

What do I do about liver support? No clue. I have been taking 500 mg of magnesium per day and I stopped taking Prednisone.

- You may need more magnesium - and always in divided doses 2 to 3 x day. Never all at once.
