In today's NPR website there is an article in their Science section on the new "Heartland Virus". It was found to be a tick-borne virus.

I couldn't help but cringe when the CDC doc says "we're pretty excited about it". I don't think they connect that these lab bugs make people very sick. They need to get a life.
