Was researching Pentosan for my horse. To my surprise I read that it is used for IC. (human of course). I think it is compounded. Anyone heard of this? Tried it?

I never did take that. It came out early in my diagnosis, but we found other things to help.
I think some people have had good results with it. I like to take as few drugs as possible since I already take "too many."

I am taking elmiron and also having bladder instillation(I think it's called Rimzo) It's helped me so much! I used to get up at least 7-10 times a night to use the bathroom, lately, it's been just 3 times and one night I just had to get up once.
I don't have any pain, but I did have a lot of pelvic pressure, frequency and urgency.

I'm taking it. I've been on it 2.5 months and I think it helps.
I just had my first LLMD appointment yesterday and he says most his Lyme patients bladder issues resolve with Lyme treatment,

I tried it yrs ago stopped it after it was making my hair fall out --a side effect--- my bladder improved with lyme treatment
