I read this about antibiotics in an article about heart disease on the AARP website and thought I would share it:

3. Antibiotics
If you already have heart disease or have a history of cardiovascular woes in your family history, taking the antibiotic azithromycin (or Z-Pak antibiotics) will put you at higher risk of a future heart attack. If you have a gene pool that’s rife with heart issues, talk to your doctor about prescribing an azithromyicn-free drug the next time you fall ill.

I know.,I was hoping someone would be able to offer some research. Are "z pack" ABXs used in the treatment if Lyme?

Yes, Zithromax is often used for lyme and babesia.

Buried somewhere in my lyme brain is something to do with Zithromax and the Q-interval and the heart.

Yes... the info on that was posted here. You could probably find it in a search.
