I read this about antibiotics in an article about heart disease on the AARP website and thought I would share it:
3. Antibiotics If you already have heart disease or have a history of cardiovascular woes in your family history, taking the antibiotic azithromycin (or Z-Pak antibiotics) will put you at higher risk of a future heart attack. If you have a gene pool that’s rife with heart issues, talk to your doctor about prescribing an azithromyicn-free drug the next time you fall ill.
