The IgM came back CDC and Igenex positive. Research I have found says there is a false positive rate of 3%, can anyone confirm?

Firstly, consider the IND bands as + also.
IND is a response, albeit a faint one.
(would be like saying 3 mos pregnant is IND, if 6 mos pregnant was a +)
So the bands you responded to on BOTH your IGG and IGM are very much lyme specific.
If your body has not "seen" the specific Borellia parts which are identified by those bands, it would not have responded to them.
I would recommend posting on Seeking a Doctor to find the best lyme literate physician you can afford in your area so you can start treatment as soon as possible.
Ignoring a lyme infection makes it go from bad to worse.

Gosh, that looks positive to me. I don't know exactly where you're located but there are some great Lyme doctors in California.
Don't bother with the infectious disease doctors. You need a specialist in Lyme.

This is a friends results, I have been in treatment for some time. The LLMD says he is very confident she has Lyme.
She has all the symptoms and is flaring every 6.5 weeks. She doesn't want to believe that she has lyme.
What I am really looking for is the false positive rate with western blot?

False positives are only in the imaginations of IDSA doctors.
There are no false positives. By the way, 23 only pops up for lyme, nothing else. She has lyme.

Another DR is having a Ispot test done? Any information regarding that?

It sounds like your friend is looking for the answer she wants to hear (which is she doesn't have Lyme).
She's entitled to her own beliefs, but not facts. Testing is flawed, there's just no point in it after you get positive. You're way more likely to get a false negative.
No such thing as false positives with Lyme.

Here's more info on the western blot and other tests. I don't know if it will help:
"17) Pharmasan Labs now offers the iSpot Lyme panel. This panel is available through NeuroSciences. It is still a very new test, and I have not gotten enough information yet to see where this option may fit in the landscape of available tests.
Update January 2014: My understanding is that the iSpot may not be as helpful for trying to identify Lyme disease in a patient with a negative or indeterminate Western Blot as the results may come back with low phytohemagglutinin which may suggest that there is a suppression of T-cells potentially as a response to Lyme but not provide any additional useful information..."
