What was difficulty eating has become not being able to eat.
Any insights on the surgery to place a stomach tube ?
Sounds like a simple surgery.

Oh Lulu. I am sorry. I am praying for some help for you so you can eat again.
A few folks on here have stomach tubes. My bro has one-it is a godsend for him. Saves his life every day and keeps him hydrated. Posted by Razzle (Member # 30398) on :
Hi,
I have a G-tube. I started out with a G-J tube but had to revert to a G-tube due to complications with the tube.
The best way to get started is to try a Naso-gastric tube to make sure you tolerate the feeding formulas. Also, if your problem is temporary, it is better to use the N-G tube rather than have a hole poked in your belly for the G-tube.
Once you figure out the formula(s) that work for you, the rate of feeding you tolerate, etc., then you can get the permanent type of feeding tube if your condition is expected to be long-term.
Unfortunately, most traditional feeding tube formulas are heavily GMO'd (soy, dairy, corn syrup).
However, there are other formulas you can use - and you can make your own.
Make sure you have a Gastroenterologist on your medical team who supports your decision...I've been without a Gastro doc for a long time and it is very hard.
Feel free to PM me with further questions.

My swallowing problems got better with a zithromax +tindimax. Also a macroglide with anti parasitics, and colonics. Anti-malarials with heparin.
