Has anyone heard about a new treatment using a "low dose immuno-therapy", supposedly similar to allergy shots? a friend of mine has son that is receiving these shots and I wanted to ask here if anyone knows anything about it. It was developed by Dr. Shrader of New Mexico and Dr. Vincent from Alaska. The therapy is a small shot of enzyme and antigen every 2-3 months depending on symptoms. Dr. Vincent has reported 50% improvement after 1st shot and most have marked improvement by 3rd shot. It is very new and was presented at a medical conference in New Mexico several months ago. This friend also mentioned treatment called Medsonix out of Las Vegas.. I know nothing about either of these, but wanted to ask everyone here if you know of either and their success???

- I would first want to be certain they are ILADS "educated" in how lyme works and that - with lyme - the immune system "parts" can just flip opposite of what is expected. -

My regular ND happened to get an email for this and just yesterday passed it along to me. She is not LL, so could not say much about it, still, it's always worth a look. Sound like they've given this much thought & study.

Scott F. is a very respected person (I'd call him a journalist as his methods and writing are very good, indeed). He has interviewed and taken part in various modalities for his own healing regaring lyme, et.al. Over the years, a very trusted source of information.
Thanks to his dedication and hard work, we have been supplied with many an ILADS conference overview.

Entering month 11 of Lyme and Co treatment. Feeling 75% maybe 4 out of 7 days per week.
This is HUGE! Much blessings to my Lyme warriors
Mopping up the mess and destruction is a whole new strategy.
I just added allergy intradermal skin tests, because at this point, my allergies are out of control and my biggest problem area. They make me so sick, I m literally bedbound. This is unacceptable considering how far I have come fighting and sufferring this horrendous disease.
I also recieved a single immunotherapy injection which is good for 2 months. My LLMD warned me ahead of time that I would be feeling under the weather for a few days. Understatement.
Feel like I got hit by a semi-truck hauling hazardous waste.
Fatigue, headache from hell, feeling like I m gonna throw-up, no appetite, body feels like a wet noodle. But research shows it works so plowing through.
I will update any progress. Keeping my fingers and legs crossed.

Hey, Bonnie! Glad to hear of your progress.
Sounds like your lyme doc knows a lot. I will be interested in hearing from you how long the horrible feeling lasts from immunotherapy injection and how you feel afterwards.
