I am in my 4 month of treating my family of 4 for Lyme, bart and babesia. Do you think it is necessary to get the igenex complete co-infection test done? I believe my son has mycoplasma. Should I just allow my LLMD to treat on symtoms alone?

Some LLMD's order more test, some don't.
Most treat on symtoms only.
Maybe more members can give you their experiences.

I have always been told the coinfection tests are not really very good
Llmds sometimes feel strongly about testing for some and dont care so much about others
I felt my babs and bart sx clearly with herx and then go away
I was glad to know erlichia was taken care of with doxy
I think fewer coinfection tests is a good place to save money

Save your money. If you herx on the meds for each coinfection, that should tell you enough.
Might want to get a test for bartonella since the bart meds are so horrendous that you don't want to be using them needlessly.
(and they'd make you feel like you are herxing anyway)

It's always good to have a positive test. But Kayak is right, the tests are not good. Pretty bad actually.
Igenex is better than most. I tested neg for babs 3 times through labcorp and lit up the IGX fish test with holiday cheer. Definite positive.
Bart tests all negative, but I DEFINITELY HAVE BART. I never got an IGX Bart test because I finally got with some people that treated the symptoms. I will be getting a Bart test at some point in the future though, when I get the scratch up to treat it. Next time I hit Bart, he's going down.
If you have a good LLMD that will listen to you and treat your symptoms, you do not need all those tests if you are lacking in funds. But a positive is good to have. It'll help get your drugs covered and protect your LLMD.

- Experienced LLMDs ARE often the best detectives - and detectors! There is a lot to be said for acquired wisdom of those who have made this their life's work / research. -
