Has anyone else (who's taken Zithromax) had tremors from it? I just got an increase in dosage and how often I take it and I'm having some major tremors, one that woke me up last night. I'm pretty sure the Zithromax is the cause, but wanted to see what others have experienced.

Middle of night, wonder if low blood sugar might be a contributing factor? A light snack with some protein, complex carbohydrate & good fat is important about an hour before bedtime. A half cup of quinoa about a forth of an avocado, for instance.

Or low magnesium?

I've had a lot of what one might call tremors (and beyond) and there are many contributing factors. Sometimes, often, it's low blood sugar or low magnesium that tips it over the edge.

Still, be sure your liver support is tip-top as that usually helps this sort of thing.

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

Also be sure no "natural flavors" or MSG in your diet and be sure not to consume any added glutamate (or glutamic acid) in supplements / powders.

Excitotoxins; MSG; Aspartame; & "Natural" Flavors (that are not likely natural at all).

Check all supplements and assess diet (and anything that comes into our bodies for:

See post: Caution: Aspartate; Glutamine; and Phenylalanine (3 excitatory amino acids that can be wrong for us when added as supplements, beyond a normal dietary level)

Seaweed has its own natural MSG and can be very excitatory

Definitely not low BS because they also happen when I'm holding a fork and eating and after eating.

No changes in diet or any other habits other than the change with Zithromax.

Tremors is not listed. I never got tremors when I took zith.

However, here are the nervous system side effects that have been reported:

Nervous System: Convulsions, dizziness/vertigo, headache, somnolence, hyperactivity, nervousness, agitation, and syncope

When I took Zithromax, I did not have tremors.

I get twitches when I need Magnesium.

I get tremors and shakes when my blood sugar is out of whack.

I got and get tremors when I'm extremely toxic. I think for me it has to do with heavy metals being flushed out or with herxes.

I get like too hungry sometimes when I'm toxic, with tremors, but not really due to hunger...

All that stop with right binders (usually chlorella in big amounts, in my case). It stops so fast (in less than half an hour after ingestion), that is why I am sure, in my case, tremors are one of the symptoms of toxicity.
