Family member had Upper Endoscopy on Tuesday morning. They took multiple biopsies.
Some discomfort in chest area. Checked in with Doctors office and they said," well you had biopsies." Not a very reassuring response.
So still have some discomfort.
Anyone experience discomfort in chest after biopsies?
Thanks

I had an upper endoscopy and they took biopsies in my stomach. I had a nagging pain in my stomach (the kind of pain you'd get by pinching yourself with tweezers) for several months afterwards. It concerned me, but it finally went away. I guess maybe it's normal.

- What can help heal the tissue: Slippery Elm Bark powder (carefully mixed in water) or capsules . . . DGL (a kind of licorice root extract) . . . marshmallow root tablets . . . aloe vera capsules.
Avoid NSAIDS and aspirin.
See chapters for most of those herbs listed above:
Though not at all about lyme, this is one of the best reference resources on my bookshelf that has wonderful chapters, many graciously available through their website.

- Avoiding gluten and also all carbonated beverages (even plain fizzy water) would be a good thing, too. I hope your relative feels better before too long. -

- "Upper Endoscopy" & "chest" - you are talking about the chest region hurting from tissue clipping having been taken from the inside of the esophagus / upper GI tract before the stomach, right? -
