I would definitely ask your LLMD about Diflucan. I hope you are following the candida diet?
The best coconut oil is anything organic.

Tks Tutu. I have some Diflucan. Did not take it after I asked for it two years ago. I think it is a year out of date. Tempted to take it - but still afraid. I never have been Dx'd with Candida - but it would make sense that I would have it.
I am so afraid of more side effects/die-off. Want to go at this as easy as possible.
Is there a kind of bacteriostatic Candida treatment? Stop the replication.
Then go bacteriocidal - kill the stuff?
I want to order the Cnut oil - but would like a brand name. Will have to order from Amazon.com. Needs to be extra virgin organic, white, etc? Tks.

I can't remember which brand I used. I can't tolerate coconut anymore.
Tropical Traditions or something like that. I'll go look.
I also don't know about bacteriostatic .. sorry!
If it were me (and it's not), I would try 1/2 pill.

I've bought Nutiva and Spectrum coconut oil before.

I think you can know whether you have a bad case of systemic candida - it's generally manifested by a craving for what the yeast wants - ie, sugar, bread, fermented foods like root beer, fungal foods like mushrooms, blue cheese, etc. So do you have any of that going on?
If so, you can do blood and stool tests to confirm.
Then you would study a noncandida diet, prepare for it, commit to it, with a stepdown plan, like no sugar but sweet fruits for a week, then when you're over the craving for sugar - takes a week to 3 weeks, generally - then wean off the sweet fruit as well. There's more, but I guess first of all, if you could say whether you crave the foods I mentioned?

Candida can definitely make you feel awful.
I believe it can affect all areas of your body, so symptoms can really vary.
