I am trying to figure out what I believe to be my final infection. My doctor can look at my labs and tell me that I still have infection, but he doesn't know which one.
I believe it is Babesia or some type of malarial infection.
What are your Babesia symptoms? What has been the most effective treatment for you?
Mine are as follows:
pain and crawling at the crown of my head
facial and jaw pain headaches
severe cognitive impairment
I do notice getting hot at night (you know what I mean) and rapid heart beat, but don't know if it is considered night sweats. My head gets burning hot.

So Lymenotlymes... when you treat the Babesia do those symptoms get better? What are you using to treat it? Did you test CDC positive through labcorp or Igenex? Just curious.

I tested CDC positive through the Sonoma County Health Department. Igenex used to send blood there for the duncani test
When I treat, I get worse. I'm not sure why, however, because you're not supposed to herx Babesia, just get better.
I've had to stop treatment to focus on healing my gut. I was doing herbs. Duncani is extremely resistant to standard treatment.

It sound like babesia like organism. I did artemisinin high doses with Mepron and zithromax. Then the days I was off art I would do crypto. You could look for my old posts. Antiparasitics and detox support the body. PEMF, infrared sauna, probiotics.

My babesia symptoms were: anxiety panic attacks shortness of breath extreme fatigue palpitations heat intolerance dizziness upon standing night sweats
Was on long-term mepron + zithromax, then malarone. Didn't help.
Later went on herbals, detox, and lymph support. Some pulsed artemisinin (in different forms) but also multi-ingredient herbals that were specifically formulated for babesia and its varieties.
Improved so much so that I was able to wean myself off of paxil, which I had been put on 15 years earlier when I first started having my babesia symptoms that were misdiagnosed as anxiety disorder. (The shortness of breath was initially diagnosed as asthma and I was put on 7 different medications including 3 inhalers as well, which did nothing.)
Almost every other babesia symptom is gone.
Mild palpitations remain, but I do have mitral valve prolapse, which can cause that. Cardiologist not concerned.
