I've been treating Bartonella for 6 months and have been using the Cowden protocol. I'm at 20 drops but it appears that my immune system is dysfunctioning and the herbs in this protocol are no longer effective. Does anyone have any recommendations for herbal protocols. How are Buhner herbs, A-BART, Jernigans Lymogen? I've tried antibiotics and couldn't tolerate due to side effects. Tried Doxycycline, Zith/Mepron. Does anybody have a good Babesia Herb Protocol?

Just FYI, Doxy, Zith/Mepron are not the antibiotics typically used for Bart. They are used for Lyme and babesia.

Zith with Rifampin is a common Bart antibiotic regimen. Or a flouroquinoline. Think Bactrim has some bart action as well.

I am starting my 3rd week on A-BART. Currently at 12 drops twice a day, working my way up to 15 drops. I take it along with the A-L complex and other prescriptions.

I feel better in general, but it's hard to tell as I am on so many different things.

Just in case you decide to also try the A-L, I had a really bad reaction to A-L complex, my dose is kept at 5 drops.
