Is Tetracycline easier on the skin with sun exposure

than Doxycycline?

It varies from person to person. Minocycline has less sun sensitivity than Doxy. Tetra was about the same for me than Mino and I continued full outside activity though summer while on either one.

Did you have to lather on the sunblock and/ or wear hats all the time?

Most sunblocks / sunscreens have some very toxic ingredients. Best to avoid those.

Even with safe ones, though, if a certain Rx causes a chemical reaction from sun, avoidance is best. Timing, certain kinds of clothes (though avoid any clothes next to your skin that are chemically coated).
