It varies from person to person. Minocycline has less sun sensitivity than Doxy. Tetra was about the same for me than Mino and I continued full outside activity though summer while on either one.

Did you have to lather on the sunblock and/ or wear hats all the time?

- Most sunblocks / sunscreens have some very toxic ingredients. Best to avoid those.
Even with safe ones, though, if a certain Rx causes a chemical reaction from sun, avoidance is best. Timing, certain kinds of clothes (though avoid any clothes next to your skin that are chemically coated).
