Has anyone gotten completely well, 100%, after being treated by Dr. J in Maryland? And, if so, what was your experience?

To be fair, is anyone ever really 100 % after lyme? "Completely well" can take on new definitions at every juncture. Remember that there is no "cure" for lyme but many have seen solid and long-lasting remissions (as long as they take care of themselves &/or promptly attend to any symptoms that may flare).

Be sure to read his blog, too, for a sense of his expertise. Although my sense is that he keeps separate from ILADS for matters regarding the politics of things, he is very LL, basically is ILADS-educated, although varies from the ILADS guidelines, to a degree (mostly regarding support supplements - but that can be a patient's choice, too, as long as open communication is involved).

I've read of several who've seen success and, from his blog, he seems very dedicated and aware of all the full scope of tick-borne infections.

I know people, personally, who are 100% back to where they were in terms of symptoms (not his patients, but I don't know any of those). The significance of a cure lies in the fact that, with current treatments, patients remain able to relapse and spred the disease to others.

He seems, from his blog, like a good doc who needs to read up on trnsmision of the disaese.
