Hi people. I am a 32 year old male living in NH and am requesting a
LLMD Referral in the NH/MA Area. It has recently been suspected that
my long standing and progressive symtpoms may be a result of Lymes.
Although I have been tested twice in the past couple years, I may be
one who has received false negatives and requires further testing.

My symptoms are vast and most are random. All vary in intensity and
duration. The most debilitating of these symtpoms is Fatigue, which
ranges from general malaise, to debilitating fatigue where i cant even
get out of my own way. Other symptoms include:

Numbness/Tingling in Fingertips, Hands, Scalp
Trouble Breathing (with or w/o excercise)
Muscle Weakness
Visual Halluciations (polyopsia) - Trails
Light sensitivity
Irritibility
Itchy/Picky skin
facial twitches (eyelids)
shakey hands
Anxiety
GERD (treated through surgery)
Heart palpitations
Abdonimal pain
Chest Pain
Forgetfullnes
Disorientation
Brain Fog
Memory Loss (mostly short term)
Temperature Fluctuation (never comfortable)
Cant Concentrate
OCD
Mood Swings
Sleep Disturbances (cant sleep, frequent waking, wake up early)
frequent urination (cant hold it even for a few minutes)
The list goes on....

ALL symptoms worsen greatly with alcohol use, lack of sleep, during
allergy season

Have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea (currently controlled, mostly),
Candidiasis (treatment provided no releif of symptoms), Anxiety
disorder (medications made symptoms worse). I have been tested for and
received negative results on just about every test you can think of
from Vitamin Deficiencies, to Allergies to MRI's, EEG's, Halter
Monitor, Sleep studies, blood work, etc etc etc. I have had surgeries
(For stomach - Acid Reflux, UPPP - to help w/ Apnae), treatment
trials, seen a million doctors and NONE have offered a single bit of
releif. Meanwhile i continue to feel awful and each day my symptoms
intensify.

I take care of myself for the most part, get decent excercise when
energy permits and eat well. Despite the hell that i've been trhoguh
with my health in the past decade, i've retained a pretty positive
outlook on life and remain hopeful that i WILL find the reason for my
ailments. I fear that some or all of this damage is irreversible and
that scares me more than anything.

Please help. Thank You.

Phorts...

welcome to the boards.

I highly suggest you post your symptoms and story on the Medical Questions sections

to get more feedback from more people on that.

Leave the post for seeking a doctor here.
I wil PM you. Others will be along too.

If you do have tickborne diseases you will be catapulted into an intense learning curve.

We should have a lyme literate practioner but we must also (due to the state of ignorance and inadequate research)learn what we must do for ourselves ...in cooperation with a practioner.

all the best...

It seems like yesterday i posted this. and i'm still in dire straights with my health. 1.5 years of treating with Abx, Herbs, supps, blah blah and am worse, not better.

I called on a couple of the doctors recommended by you folks from this post. Siciliano, the one you recommended charges $600 for a visit. You gave him a rave review, but i see your are not accepting PM's due to your battle with Lyme.

I'm debating breaking the bank for treatment, but your status makes me concerned. Can you please reply back, if you are able, and give me some insight into yoru experience with this doc? It would be so very much appreciated.

Thank you everyone. i hope you all find yourself on the path to recovery and are keeping the faith.

love and light.

Your symptoms match up pretty well with my daughers before she started treatment for lyme and babesia.

Treating this disease becomes expensive fast. $600 is just the start.

My daugher has never tested positive under CDC standards so don't worry about having a negative test. Request the band readings in advance or labs like quest and labcorp won't provide them.

It's amazing there is a controversy to this insidious disease and I've found it easiest to show a couple of u tube video's on the controversy.

If you watch this video you can see some of the miss diagnosis.

This is our Lyme doctor. It took us 8+ months, 9 MD's, 2 Children's Hospital's before we started to learn about the controversy and find him.

He is a saint and I show this to help illustrate how MD's have been prosecuted so normal MD's shy away from doing anything but following the flawed IDSA guidelines.
