Hi we have a 22 year old daughter that has lyme and already sees a LLMD in the States. There has not been much improvement and was wondering your thoughts on visiting the John Hopkins Hospital to see a Infectious disease doctor that treats lyme? Does anyone have any past experiences on this route. Thanks so much

Don't waste your time and money going to John Hopkins. From what I have read, the doctors there do not believe chronic lyme exists. They are in the same camp as Dr. Alan Steere.
You should post this in the "Seeking A Doctor" section. I know there is an excellent LLMD in New York that many try to get in and see. I have personally not been to him so it might be good for you to hear from some who have...

Ditto with dbpei and Lymetoo on staying away from Johns Hopkins. Infectious Disease doctors have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
Perhaps your daughter needs to be treated by another LLMD if she is not seeing any improvement.
I sent you a pm with some suggestions.

Hopkins is local to me. They don't want lyme patients. I went there for a diagnosis. Waste of time and money.
Read their website. It tells their views about lyme. Also, an article in a local paper a few years ago quoted one of their docs saying that they don't want lyme patients as lyme is too controversial.
