How does Stony Brook Infectious Disease Control Unit measure up for any and all aspects of Lymes diagnosis and treatment?

I seriously doubt it. I don't know of ANY hospitals or high profile clinics or any infectious disease doctors who understand Lyme and will treat it effectively.

- Absolutely NOT. Why not?: They follow the IDSA model. And that is so very, very wrong in oh, so many ways.
WHY you need an ILADS "educated" or "minded" Lyme Literate doctor (whether MD or ND, or both) - starting with assessment / evaluation for lyme, OTHER tick-borne diseases, and other chronic stealth infections - and all that goes along for the ride.
Medical "models" explained here, as to differences in the ISDA & ILADS models of assessment & treatment - and exactly why it is so very important to know the differences. -
