I am checking out mattress toppers for a semi-hard mattress, and from some reviews I've read, the visco elastic memory foam is smelly, and

people that wrote in said they returned it due to that plus the size was not as stated, and usually ended up being approximately 2" shorter.

They also said they had a large fan on it for several days trying to air it out before using it, but that didn't work.

I can't take odor, even perfumes, so I am wondering about those egg shell toppers. Does anyone have one and how comfortable are they, and do they smell?

Thanks for any help.

They're ok and yes they smell.

Have you tried an air mattress?

Look into latex. I have a latex mattress and love it! It's all natural, organic.

I'm moving this to off topic. If you are in general, please go to the top of the thread and there is a link to take you to the thread in off topic.
