Back 5 years ago when I joined Lymenet, it seemed to have many more individuals who posted and visited here.

It seems to have slowed down? Where did they go? Are there other Lyme resource forums that currently have more traffic?

I did notice that more forums have popped up in search engine results... But sometimes websites lose traffic, people grow older and move on. So many things involved, but I guarantee people still read the forums but dont post...

You think too, spring is right around corner. More people be going out, less people on the internet. Traffic surges during winter, but come summer, more people tend to be out and about

There's a lot of Lyme sites now, including a lot of facebook Lyme sites. So my sense is the numbers of those aware are larger and the conversations are multiple on the net. Some are also in specialized yahoo discussion groups.

The info that Silver and I have garnered here, I believe to be better than the FB groups.

I also believe that there are many who "read" posts, but don't reply as it may not apply to them.

The greatest thing I wish is that there was a "like" or counter button on posts to let you know that at least someone read it even if they didn't comment.

Finally, this is a personal opinion, we have better educated folk (as applies to TBI's) about the illness.

I constantly share with "friends" on FB about this site, but the response is either "I don't have it and it's too bad Silver does, but it's no biggie to me" or no response.

I think most are on Facebook. Just remember that on Facebook, your name is in full view...even for insurance companies to see. All they have to do is join.

Exactly. The main reason I refuse to use facebook.

It's sad that facebook has become the sponge on internet everything.
