Religious organizations are extremely powerful social forces. How come I don't see more pastors, rabbis, etc campaigning for Lyme?
Has anyone sought the help of their religious organizations in spreading awareness and if they did what kind of reception did they get?

Yes, I did. When I had the screening of UOS in April I told my pastor about it. He knows how sick I have been and has seen my improvemnet in these 7 years.
He watched the film and called me right away. For some reason people have an easier time believing a movie with strangers then someone who they have known for years and who has been ill right before their eyes. Part of being human!?
He has borrowed my copy of UOS and shared it with many families. It is such a horror that we all know and live everyday, to see someone so moved to become a local advocate has been very rewarding.
John, I have wondered the same as you. Religious communities are a great resource. However, first they need to be educated and we all need to take the necessary steps to do so.

Well that's good news. Now multiply that by 1,000.
