It's easy to confuse who is on what Board, but Karen is not on the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) Board.
IDSA website is www.idsociety.org Click: Practice Guidelines; Infection by Organism; Bacteria; LD; then LD 2000 Guidelines. You'll see all the names of the people you're used to hearing about.
Karen F.(not sure if I'm supposed to give her name) and her husband co-founded the Lyme Disease Foundation (LDF) over 20 yrs ago. www.lyme.org They serve on the LDF Board not the IDSA Board.
They struggled for about 6 yrs trying to get proper treatment for their son who had Lyme disease (congenital?). After his passing, they wanted to help others avoid the tragedy their family experienced. Definitely the good guys.

ann, it is shown on that site somewhere; as i said earlier, it is NOT clearly identified, and it showed the list of all plus gerberd....., sp, being added.
i'm not taking time to find it again; took 30 min. last time.

13 years and 265 posts = 20 posts a year! I better slow down. I didn't know the pace was that way. lol. I'm amazed when I see these long-timers with so few posts.
