Last September I went on 30 days of antibiotics for Lyme. After the antibiotics were gone (Dr would not give more than 30 days) I went on the protocol of Andrographis/Resveratrol/Cats Claw.
Four days ago I received the worst set of canker sores in my mouth, so bad that I haven't been aboe to chew food. I've been eating chicken broth with a piece of bread in it (bread soaks soup and is very, very soft). There have been a few times that I put some chopped up scrambled eggs in with the soup.
Has anyone else had any canker sores in their mouth while on a Lyme protocol?
The sores are slowly getting better (I think). The pain wakes me up at night and the sores on the right side get irritated from sleeping on my side.

When I read your post, I remembered that I used to get canker sores as a child. My mother was a nurse, and identified them, but we didn't do anything for them.
I had these for four straight years. For me, they were called Aphthous ulcers which may be the same - or not.
I also had burning of all the mouth tissue which you may or may not have. For me the burning was deep nerve pain, too.
I know nuts can make it worse.
You might read what I just wrote at a similar thread. Andrographis helped me tremendously - within one week. Nothing else was as effective as andrographis. Details here:

Thanks for the info Sorry I didn't get back to read this but the reason was a severe respiratory infection came along. Seven days into the mouth stuff and then the respiratory stuff.

I have had mouth ulcers for many years too...I feel your pain, unfortunately...there is no way to decribe the pain of these.
About 3 years ago I had the worst "set" of canker sores I have ever had, including a large (almost dime-sized) one on the back of my throat. Needless to say, life was miserable for about a month.
I was given a prescription mouthwash that helped to numb the pain, and also in the past I have had some success with Zilactin.
I believe I have read that canker sores are a symptom of Ehrlichiosis (which I have tested positive for, even through Quest).
I am so sorry you are dealing with this, and I hope you find some relief FAST.
You asked if other people have had these sores while on the lyme protocol- I have had one or two over the last year since I began treatment. But I am quite sure that during my last HORRIBLE episode of canker sores several years ago, I had been on antibiotics for chronic sinus infections.
Perhaps the antibiotics were killing the spirochetes, causing the outbreak of sores (a herx, maybe?)
When the pain is intolerable, I think my pcp gave me pain killers of some sort.
