Is there anyone who actually recovered from this horrible disease? I have been on antibiotics for 5 months and no signs of recovery.

Many people who get bitten by a tick and are immediately treated appropriately with antibiotics "recover". Far fewer people who have chronic lyme recover. There is no "cure" for chronic lyme, which is why you read of people on this forum trying any number of different treatments for this disease.

- It's quite possible to reach a good, strong and long remission. Many have but few are here, they are out living their lives.
I know five months is a long time, however, it can take a year, or 2 or 3. Be sure that you are doing plenty of support so that you'll have a better chance.
And be sure your LLMD considers the full lyme COMPLEX - it's not "just" lyme. While it's complex, it's quite possible to feel good again.

Thanks to all who responded. I do have mycoplasma pneumonia, EBV, HHV6,and being tested for babesia and bart. (CD57: 17) My body has rejected all supplements including B12 shots. However, I do take probiotics, sacch. boulardii, nystatin, whole food multivitamin, whole food vit. D, psyllium, plus current antibiotics. LLMD tried me on samento and banderol, but I had excrutiating migraines for three days......had to stop. I can't take antidepressants, nerve relaxers, or pain relievers. I can take aspirin and ibuprofen. Honestly, I believe my LLMD is trying, but I do not feel he is experienced enough. I considered going to Envita in Arizona, but after many hours and days of research and speaking to others, decided against it. Not alot of positive reports and extremely expensive. So, as most of you, I struggle daily. Many, many mornings I am surprised to actually be alive. I had to give up a job I loved and slowly my life is being stripped to nothing. I really need a doctor who is top of the shelf experienced with treating the disease. So, if anyone out there has one, please email me. Praying for all of us!

I beat Lyme and babesia. Another moderator here (sixgoofykids) is also recovered.
It took 18-24 months for me to turn the corner on the illnesses. Lyme is not easily conquered. Hang in there!!!

How did you beat it?
Will you email me your LLMD or clinic you used?
I live in Texas, but will go anywhere for help.
My daughter has it too.
