This particular test was fog and bacteria. Makes you wonder about ticks as biological vectors.

It's terrible - I just found out about it too. One man died and others got sick.
Tick research has been done since 1909 by at least six countries. The tick researcher who released ticks into the Black Forest in Germany during WWII was brought over here to head up the Plum Island lab.
