My husband came down with lyme not as severely as mine and was on orals. had to stop due to horrible GI issues and candida.
I never got that as badly so I can tolerate orals. His back and private part pain are coming back now that he has been off antibiotics for 2 months!!! Oral silver does nothing for him!

We have RX for Bicillin LA. I called hospital pharmy who is great. She said that we could get the Bicillin that is both the CR and the LA combined. There is more drug delivered but he'd at least be getting the correct amount of the LA. I told her it was for lyme and she knew that the LA part was important to stay in the system.
Is this an OK way to go if we clear it with LLMD??...
I'm scared my poor honey is going down too and need all the help we can get! Thanks!

Also, I can't find a needy meds drug program for Bicillin LA...does one exist??? Please help!
Thanks sooo berry much

The kind of Bicillin needed, and some procurement strategies have been discussed at length. You might want to try a search. There was a thread just a few days ago that shouldn't be too far off the front page.

Hi Pippy:

Here is the thread I was referring to, which just coincidentally just came back to the top of the heap:

Hope you find some good info there!

Pippy - Not sure where in California you are but I know some places that have Bicillin LA (CR does not work for lyme - at least that is what I have been told).

You can e-mail me if you like. Oddly enough Costco pharmacy can get it, a few Walgreens in Northern California have it and a few smaller pharms have it.

Like I said feel free to email me if you need more specific info on where to get it.
