Ok, since I get to take this lovely IM Bicillin that is totally killing me right now, can I add anything to help me feel better that is more homeopathic (natural type medicine)?? Im taking magnesium, b-12, zinc, vit c, folic acid. I need to feel better while dealing with the herx from hell!!

Nancy, I'm also in the process of herxing and the natural things I'm doing are as follows:

1. Water with fresh lemon juice, and I mean lots and lots distilled water.
2. Concotion of: 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice, 1 Tbs. Virgin Olive Oil, 1 Tbs. Welches Grape Juice
3. Twice daily, soak in hot tub bath consisting of 1 cup Epson Salt, 1 cup Baking Soda.
4. Deep Breathing Exercises
5. Low arobic exercises is possible
6. Milk Thistle supplement for detoxing liver
7. Foot Detox Pads which help pull toxins from body. You can purchase them onlne, just search for foot detox pads (I'll look the website up and repost for your convenience). It is unreal at the black stuff comes through the feet removing these toxins.

This is about all I know, perhaps someone will see your post and make further recommendations.

Please take a deep breath and try and relax, the more we tighten up our muscles and take shallow breaths, the slower the process of detox.......know it is difficult to do, but we can get through these difficult times compared to looking at a lifetime of symptons........

God Bless and take care of yourself......you will overcome.........

Nancy-

I used all except the foot detox pads and have had herxing that rated 3-5 on the 1-10 scale. Do them all the time and your body is less likely to build up toxins. I did the lemon juice/olive oil detox once a month.

Resting with a heating pad on the small of your back feels wonderful!

Nancy I had pretty nasty herxes in the beginning but each one has gotten less severe.

In addition to abx, I take the supplements you mention, plus milk thistle and others. I do use the foot pads most nights and believe they help.
Since my primary symptoms are physiological, I couldn't possibly do aerobics. I do, though, do strength exercises for my back.

Also acupuncture, which is a real benefit. And reflexology.

I take the epson salts baths about 4 times a week and drink lemon water. Meditation can calm me down a lot.

And when I'm really in herx hell, nothing helps more than a funny movie!
