Can anyone tell me if they are able to get Diflucan in the pale yellow color or anything besides pink tablets? My pharmacist cannot get the yellow ones (they are so light they almost look white) anymore and I can't tolerate the pink ones. Apparently they aren't making the light colored ones anymore.

I have called all the local pharmacist and they only have pink. Apparently I am allergic to the dye or binders or something because I tolerated the light colored ones just fine.

I have had to stop taking it and was taking 100 mg. every day for 8 months. I am still on abx and need Diflucan to keep the yeast at bay.

Hello what perfect timing.

I just started the pink as well. What were your allergy symptoms. I have this feeling coating in my throat and it makes drinking water tough. it seemed to increase after i took the pink pills.

CVS has the white ones...its generic though they come in a box....one per box.

I filled up at eckerd last time cause cvs said they were too busy to take my order.

if you have a CVS is your area check with them.

I have been lucky I had bad bad yeast problem once.
All I used to get rid was acidophilis swished in my mouth then after 10mins swallowed also yogurt.
It took afew days to get it under control but it was bad. When I urinated it was like a lightning with hot rod shoved up my fellor it hurt and my mouth was splitting and slght bleeding teeth turned real yucky all this because of the abx I was on killed the good bacteria that kept it in check.I missed one morning dose and thats what happened.

Oh I also used some hydrogen peroxide swished in my mouth then rinsed real well 5or6 times once or twice but long before using the acidophilis.
Because HP would kill the acidophilis.

Thank you both for this helpful info. I have been on-line and on the phone as I don't have a CVS or Eckerd in my state but I did find out the company that makes the white ones and my pharmacist is going to try to order them.

This is a great place to get info and thank you both again.

"Cantgiveupyet" - my symptoms were headache and I just felt really spacey, etc. All my lyme symptoms seemed worse too.

I tried the pink ones 3 different times thinking that it wouldn't be that but I couldn't tolerate them at all. I really don't like leaving the yeast unteated this long as sometimes I do eat sugar. I am really craving it while on abx.

Treepatrol - so you didn't have to take Diflucan at all when you were on heavy abx tx.? Did you follow the yeast free diet also? I really don't like taking Diflucan but feel that it is necessary with the abx.

My tongue is very coated but my LLMD says he never sees a healthy tongue anymore.

Thanks again - this was very helpful

Lots of acidophilis cut carbs never any refined sugars, and yougurt a couple time a week.
Basic atkins worked well.
Carb counter list.
carbgramcounter

Reduce eliminate refined carbs breads ,pasta, sugar, potatoes, beets, corn, pretzels, candy, pop soda, fruit drinks, sucrose.

Eat certain cheeses, bacon beef, chicken, fish, meat, some lunch meats, ham, turkey, pork, lamb, some fruits, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon,The point is to at first reduce sugars in your mouth and intestinal tract so as to reduce yeasts readily usable sugars at first starving them out then reintroduce after you have a handle on yeast overgrowth with acidophilis replenishing the flora's then add some of the carbs back in but good carbs.
20%and lower carbs for weight loss 20%to 30% for maintaining weight some people can go a little higher 35%to40%.
But not me my maintaining carb level is 25 to 30 anything over that and iam gaining weight and yeast problems BUT always take acidophilis 2to 3 hrs after abx's or before or both.Always take your suppliments also.

Yes, as previously stated, CVS carries a generic
brand of Diflucan, which is white. It is made by
the Sandoz Company, from Broomfield, Co, if you
need a reference.

Tree, your description of how it felt when you urinated made me laugh. I can't stop laughing. It's really not funny that it hurt so bad, it's just your description. LOL
