Functionally, I understand they are almost identical. The difference I have observed is that the battery life is improved. They removed the flashing lights which I suspect was part of the battery issue. They also now have an alarm if one of the pads comes off which has been useful for sleeping with the unit. A few minor design changes, but in terms of size, function, etc., I think what you have with the KMT23 is very good.

Give me your honest opinion, as I have yet to place my order.
Is the difference between the price of the KMT23 vs. KMT24 WORTH the benefit the KMT24 provides? (Did I ask that right?)
Also, did you ever answer the question as to how much the KMT24 costs? Sure, I could go to the Klinghardt website and find out - but I'm tired and lazy. You know - so spill it, mister. Pretty please?
And HEY - when do we get the summary of the ACAM conference?
Hugs &

Dr. Ms. A**:
To my knowledge, the price it the same. The KMT24 runs 1350. You won't find it on the Klinghardt site since it is a separate company. BioTools is the company and you can reach them via email at [email protected]. Nancy is the lady that runs BioTools.
As for the summary of the ACAM conference, I am on page 25 now and have about that much to go. Hopefully by early next week. The challenge is finding the time between work, etc. to get it done. Soon....

I was told by Biotools rep at (541)488-6770 that the manufacturer was originally manually making the KMT-23 and couldn't keep up with demand, so the maker partnered with someone else to make it in a way they could increase production, and consequently had to rename it KMT-24. They essentially do the same thing, only slight modifications. She said they don't make the KMT-23 now, just the KMT-24, under the new partnership.
